New Hope is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. What To Expect
Because we are always growing quickly, things are always changing, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Our growth and expansion also requires some necessary current and future construction on our church property. So if you visit us and see something that might not be just right, it's probably because it is either being updated, or will be updated soon.
A typical service will last about 1 hour. The dress is very casual. We live in South Alabama, so in the summer months expect to see people in shorts and t-shirts. Our worship music is contemporary with a few traditional hymns thrown in from time to time. We don't have an "offering time," but we do have ways available to give for those that want. We don't expect our guests to give.
For those with kids, please bring them with you.

Groups, Classes, & Other Events
We don't do things like most churches that you might be used to. We don't have this philosophy just to be different, it just works for us. That said, we offer a number of groups, classes, and events, but not all of them are for you. What we mean is, if you look at the Upcoming Events, you might think there is a lot going on, and while you're right, many of our groups, classes, and events are gender, age, or season of life specific. What this does is allow people in our church to build community with people in a similar stage in life.
We do have a number of church-wide events throughout the year that allows for us all to be together and get to know each other better.

I'm Going To Visit
Now that you have decided that you want to visit, we want to make that visit go as smoothly as you like, so we have a couple of options for you. The first, feel free to sneak in the back and sneak out if that is what makes you most comfortable. Of course, we would love the opportunity to meet you, but we know that is not for everyone.
