At The Port, we call our small groups, Tribes and Huddles. Tribes are bigger groups made up of both males and females of all ages. Huddles are groups of 3-5 people which are gender specific. In Tribes, the participants breakdown and study the scripture from the week's sermon. In Huddles, the participants get to choose the scripture they would like to study. We do this because we want to see community built within the context of these groups. These groups are not solely about having Bible studies one night a week. While these groups are designed to meet for Bible studies, they are also there so the group can meet for coffee on a Saturday morning, or pray for a member when their going through a rough patch, serve together, or help with dinners when needed. It is within these groups that people grown and become healthy. We offer groups for those in all stages of life.
